RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT
My debut single ‘Every Wish’ will be released on Friday the 4th of July, 2025.
This song explores the complexity of grief. It’s about being naive, wanting to escape the realities of death, and wishing the time away. Then after it’s all over, realising the mistake and wanting to do it over again, despite knowing that it wouldn’t change things.
Like the stages of grief, it’s denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and maybe one day, acceptance.
A special thank you to JMA Music for mixing the track, Emily Wheatcroft-Snape for mastering the track, and Jessie Maree for the photographs.

Join us on Friday 27th June at Gribblehirst Community Hub for 'Common Threads', an intimate evening of original music.
'Common Threads' features three Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) based artists: Victoria Perry, Ravi the Poet and PaperWalls. This one-night-only event invites you to grab a comfy seat and lean in. Each set offers a glimpse into personal experiences of grief, love and memory.
Doors open: 6:45pm
Music starts: 7:00pm
Koha entry (Suggested $10)
